About WARDOGS Tips

WARDOGS Tips is an independent, fan-made guide to WARDOGS, the large-scale team shooter from developer BULKHEAD and publisher Team17 that is in Steam Early Access for Windows. The site exists to answer the questions players actually search for when a new game launches: what it is, what it costs, how a match works, why it crashes, and what the latest update changed.

Who writes it

The site is written and maintained by Jerry, an independent developer who plays the game and reads the official announcements. It is a one-person project: the same person checks the facts, writes the pages and answers the email.

WARDOGS Tips is not affiliated with BULKHEAD, Team17 or Valve. WARDOGS and related names and images belong to their respective owners. Nothing here is official documentation.

What is on the site

There are nine pages, and each one answers a different question:

How the facts are checked

Every factual claim on this site is checked against official sources first — Steam store pages and the developer's own Steam announcements — with community sources used only as supporting evidence. The footer of each page shows the date the facts were last checked. Where something could not be confirmed, the page says “To be confirmed” rather than guessing: this site would rather leave a gap than publish a number it cannot point to a source for. If you find something that is out of date or wrong, the correction address is on the contact page, and corrections are welcome.

How the site is funded

The site is supported by third-party advertising and affiliate links. Ads are served by advertising networks, and some shop links are affiliate links, which means the site may earn a commission if you buy after clicking one, at no extra cost to you. Neither ever buys a verdict: no advertiser, publisher or shop has any say in what a page says, and there are no sponsored posts. The full explanation of what those partners collect is in the privacy policy.
