WARDOGS release date by platform
PC is the only platform out today: WARDOGS entered Steam Early Access on September 10, 2026 as a Windows-only release, and it is still Early Access. There is no console version yet.

Where the console dates come from: as listed on October 26, 2026, the PlayStation Store page shows “Releases on: 2028” and nothing more specific, and the Xbox store page lists WARDOGS for Xbox Series X|S but shows no release date at all. Those are the stores’ own wording, not an announced release day. Wikipedia records both console versions for 2028. No official source gives a day or month for either console, so be suspicious of any article that does.
Is the full 1.0 version out yet?
No. As of October 26, 2026, BULKHEAD has not announced a release date for the full 1.0 version: the official Steam news hub carries no such announcement, and Wikipedia lists no 1.0 date either. The game is still in Early Access. The same check found no announced date for macOS, Linux or Proton support.
How much does WARDOGS cost?
Prices on the US Steam store, as shown on October 26, 2026: $39.99 for the base game, $49.99 for the Supporter Edition and $12.99 for the Supporter Pack DLC. The editions and what the Supporter Edition adds are compared on the WARDOGS Steam page.
Do you need a subscription for console online play?
When the console versions arrive, online play on them will need a subscription on top of the game. On PlayStation 5 the PlayStation Store says “PS Plus required for online play”. On Xbox, online multiplayer on console requires Game Pass Essential, Premium, or Ultimate, sold separately. Neither console version exists yet.
Should you wait for a later release?
BULKHEAD itself tells unsure players that waiting for a later update or for 1.0 is “completely okay”, and it encouraged refunding if the beta did not meet expectations. So the decision is yours to make from facts: the PC version is playable today in Steam Early Access, and the console versions have no date more specific than the year 2028.
